Terms of use
These terms cover your use of Servo Sprint, the browser game at servosprint.xyz and its installable app versions, operated by Servo Sprint. By playing, you agree to them. They are written to be read, so they are short. If anything is unclear, email support@servosprint.xyz.
The game
Servo Sprint is free to play. We may change, add or remove features, run events, rebalance the game or take it offline for maintenance at any time. We try to keep it running smoothly, but it is provided as it is, without any promise that it will always be available or free of bugs.
Player names
- Player names are 3 to 16 letters, numbers or underscores and appear publicly on leaderboards, Crews and share cards. Choose one that doesn't identify you if you'd rather stay anonymous.
- Names and robot names must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonate someone else or include personal details. We may rename, hide or remove names that break this rule.
- An unsaved name can be used by anyone who types it. Save your name with a passkey or backup code to keep it. Keep your backup code private; anyone who has it can sign in as you.
Fair play
The leaderboards, Crews and badges only mean something if everyone plays the same game. Don't modify the game, automate inputs, tamper with requests to our servers, exploit bugs to post scores, or use several names to farm rewards. We may remove scores, badges, rewards or names that we believe were obtained unfairly, without notice. If you find a bug that affects scores, please tell us instead of using it.
Gears, items and purchases
- Gears, paints, robots, badges and other in-game items are part of the game. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money and can't be transferred or sold outside the game.
- The optional store sells cosmetic items and shortcuts for real money, paid through Stripe. Nothing sold changes a score, a ghost or a leaderboard, and gears bought with money never count toward your grade.
- A purchase belongs to the saved player name it was made under and follows that name to other devices.
- For help with a purchase or to ask for a refund, email support@servosprint.xyz with your player name. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the item may be removed from your name. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the consumer laws that apply to you.
Content you share
Share cards, challenge links and Crew links show your player name, score and robot. When you share them, you choose who sees them. Please don't use the game's sharing features to spam or harass anyone.
Our content
The game, its code, robots, artwork, names and logos belong to Servo Sprint, except third-party material used under its own licence (such as the soundtrack, "Rhythm Factory" by Zane Little Music, released under CC0). You're welcome to stream the game, record videos and post screenshots, including on monetised channels. Press material in the press kit may be used for coverage of the game.
Ads
The website may show ads from Google. Any ad that offers an in-game reward is always optional. See the privacy policy for how ads and data are handled.
Children
Servo Sprint is suitable for a general audience but is not directed at children under 13. The game doesn't ask for age, real name, email or location.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Servo Sprint is not liable for indirect losses or for lost progress, items or scores caused by bugs, outages, cleared browser data or lost backup codes. Take breaks, play somewhere safe, and please don't play while driving or walking near traffic.
Changes
We may update these terms as the game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the new terms.
